Program Overview:
The Femi’s Heart Ambassadors Program is committed to empowering high school seniors and freshmen college students, especially those from underrepresented communities, to overcome barriers and succeed in their academic and professional journeys. Through strategic outreach, inclusive recruitment, and tailored mentorship, we aim to create an environment where all students feel supported, valued, and capable of achieving their goals. The program is not only a steppingstone for educational success but also a means to build a more equitable future for the next generation of leaders.
The Femi's Heart Foundation Ambassadors Program is a mentorship initiative designed to provide high school seniors and freshman college students with academic guidance, career advice, emotional support, and leadership development. We help these students navigate academic and personal challenges while encouraging their long-term success in higher education.
The Ambassadors Program is open to:
1, High School Seniors (Grades 12)
Age Range: 17-18 years
Background: Students nearing high school graduation, facing the challenges of applying to colleges or securing post-graduation employment from underrepresented and Minority Students: Focus on African American, Immigrant, Refugee, and Low-Income Communities.
2. Freshman College Students (1st-year students)
Age Range: 18-19 years
Background: First-year college students adjusting to college life and academics. from underrepresented and Minority Students:
Focus on African American, Immigrant, Refugee, and Low-Income Communities.
Mentors in the program offer one-on-one support, including guidance on college applications, scholarships, career planning, and emotional well-being. They also help mentees build confidence, set goals, and overcome challenges in their educational journeys.
The Ambassadors Program runs as an 7-month cohort teaching and learning program. It includes regular mentorship meetings, workshops, and opportunities for professional and personal development. Mentors and mentees are paired for the duration of the program to ensure consistent support.

The application typically asks for information about the student’s academic interests, career goals, and personal challenges they wish to address through mentorship. Apply here.
Yes! At the end of the 8-month cohort, students who actively participate and complete the program will be eligible for a $1000 scholarship to support their educational expenses.
